WASA OPEN '26

Vaasa Sportpark, which is located in the city of Vaasa, hosted the fifth M15 level professional tennis tournament on June 8–14, 2026. The total amount of prize money was 15,000 USD. There was free entrance to the tournament

Players from around the world

In the tournament there was again large amount of international players and many Finnish top players were trying to reach ATP points. Men’s singles Champion became Guillaume Dalmasso from France. He won in the final Joaquin Guilleme from Nicaragua 6-1, 6-4. Best Finnish performance in the singles was Linus Lagerbohm reaching quarterfinals, where he lost to Guilleme 6-4, 7-6. Doubles won Estonian pair Markus Mölder / Kristjan Tamm. They beat in the final pair Vesa Ahti (Finland) / Tom Zeuch (Germany) 6-4, 4-6, 10-6

Large number of matches

The tournament consisted of singles and doubles. Qualifying matches for the main draw took place at the beginning of the week, June 8–9. The singles main draw began for all players on June 10, with 32 players. The doubles main draw had 16 pairs. The singles semi-finals will be played on Saturday June 13 and the final was played at Saturday evening because of poor weather prognosis on Sunday.
